R.E.M.: Anuncia reedición 25 aniversario de Monster

Será un box set con 6 discos, con demos y hasta la cinta Road Movie

R.E.M. acaba de anunciar en su sitio oficial y redes sociales la reedición de su noveno disco Monster, un boxset con el que celebrarán los 25 años del lanzamiento. Este boxset estará disponible en formato físico y en varias plataformas digitales el 1 de noviembre, y ya se puede pre-ordenar.

Este nuevo material contará con 5 CD, un Blu-ray, un remix especial de 2019 del productor de Monster Scott Litt, un CD de demos inéditos del álbum y una actuación completa en vivo de 1995 en Chicago. El Blu-ray contendrá el disco en audio de alta calidad como en sonido envolvente 5.1, y la película Road Movie, que documenta la gira de REM en 1995, junto a los seis videos musicales de Monster. El nuevo remix de su productor original Scott Litt también estará disponible como un lanzamiento independiente de doble vinilo.

Monster es un disco fundamental en la carrera de la banda de Athens, no solo por lo musical sino porque era su regreso a los escenarios tras una pausa autoimpuesta por la banda.
